What you see
The wizard runs in four steps: file · columns · match · create list.

The sentence this recipe rests on: the file never reaches our server. It is read in your browser; only the attributes to be resolved are transmitted. What is stored afterwards is only which company was matched — identifier, name, city and the quality of the match. Contact names and private contact details in unmapped columns never leave your machine.
How you know it worked
Some of your rows stay unmatched, and that is as it should be: what remains is usually not incorporated companies — sole traders, associations, foreign entities. A rate of 100 percent would be a warning sign, not a success.
How high the rate comes out depends on what your file carries besides the company name: with a VAT ID or a register number it is near-unambiguous, with name and city good, with the name alone shaky. The review table shows you the result before the list is created.
The honest limit
The free plan processes 200 rows per upload, Plus 1,000. An oversized file is refused up front rather than silently truncated.
Picking a different candidate in the review table — “choose another company” on an uncertain row — requires the Plus plan. On the free plan you can see the three bands and take the confident matches, but you cannot redirect an individual uncertain row to a different company.
The upload itself costs no Implicents on either plan.
