Which group does this company belong to, and which sister companies are there?

Parent, ultimate parent and direct subsidiaries on the company profile, with links to the German companies.

What you need

Plus plan no Implicents

You need an account in the Implisense Platform. The free plan costs nothing and asks for no payment details — 100 Implicents to start, then 25 a month.

Open the Platform

Steps

  1. 1

    Open the group structure

On the company profile, the Group structure card sits below the commercial register. It appears when the company has an LEI; if the profile has none, we look it up by register number.

  2. 2

    Read the parent

At the top are the direct and the ultimate parent. If there is none, the reported reason is shown, for example „No consolidating parent, owned by natural persons“.

  3. 3

    Click through the group

Below are the direct subsidiaries. German companies we can match with certainty are linked; from there you go to their profile and on to their subsidiaries.

  4. 4

    Keep the companies

Put the companies that matter to you into a list with the bookmark on the profile, for example to watch all subsidiaries of a customer together.

What you see

The Group structure card sits on the company profile right below the commercial register:

RowContent
Ultimate parentthe top of the group, for example Siemens AG
Direct parentthe company one level up, if it is a different one
Direct subsidiariessix visible at once, up to 30 to expand

German companies link to their Implisense profile, foreign ones carry their country. The link „Record at GLEIF“ leads to the complete record.

That helps when a sales GmbH or a holding turns up in a conversation: you see who decides in the group and find sister companies that might need the same thing.

How you can tell it worked

You can name the chain from the company up to the ultimate parent and have the sister companies on a list. If the card shows a reason instead of a parent, that is an answer in itself: the company is not consolidated in any group accounts.

The honest limit

The data comes from GLEIF and exists only for companies with an LEI. Many smaller mid-sized firms have none; then the card does not appear. An LEI is needed mainly by companies that trade securities or derivatives.

Consolidation, not shareholdings. GLEIF reports who consolidates whom in the group accounts. Who holds how many shares is in the shareholder list.

Visible on the Plus plan and on unlocked profiles. On the free plan you unlock a single profile for 5 Implicents; after that you see its group structure too. On the Plus plan it costs nothing.
