Diese Ziele sollen durch die Umsetzung eines breit gefächerten Maßnahmen- und Veranstaltungspakets erreicht werden. Der Hub soll ein zentrales Serviceangebot konzipieren, um Anfragen von Startups, Hochschulen, Mittelstand und Industrie zu neuen Gründungs-, Innovations- und Geschäftsvorhaben im Bereich digitaler Geschäftsmodelle, Lösungen und Produkte zu bearbeiten und Kontakte mit passenden, potenziellen Partnern herzustellen. Damit dient er als Drehscheibe und setzt Impulse für die Mobilisierung der digitalen Wirtschaft in der Region. Neben dem Serviceangebot für Anfragen von Startups, Hochschulen, Mittelstand und Industrie führt der Hub verschiedene, wiederkehrende Innovationsformate durch. Bei diesen Innovationsformaten kommen Gründer, Experten, Wissenschaftler sowie Mitarbeiter von Unternehmen aus Mittelstand und Industrie zusammen, um gemeinsam neue digitale Geschäftsmodelle, Lösungen und Produkte zu entwerfen und zu diskutieren. Aus den vielversprechendsten Innovationsideen sollen sich im Idealfall konkrete Businessprojekte z.B. in Form von neuen Startups oder gemeinsamen Entwicklungs- und Pilotprojekten von Mittelstand und Industrie ergeben.
