Droyßig ist eine Kleinstadt in der Mitte Deutschlands mit 1.985 Einwohnern, die auf eine lange Handels- und Wirtschaftsgeschichte zurückblicken kann. Seit dem 19. Jahrhundert spielt die Textilindustrie in Droyßig eine wichtige Rolle. Darüber hinaus hat Droyßig eine lange Handwerkstradition und in mehreren Betrieben wird noch Kunsthandwerk hergestellt. Die Region ist stolz auf ihre reiche Kultur und Geschichte sowie auf die ansässigen Handwerksbetriebe. Droyßig ist auch bekannt für seine schönen Seen, Wälder und grünen Wiesen.
